Excellent

Harvard is close at hand, and Brown is nearby in Rhode Island.

Right that's three of you.

Todd, Randy, Ryan, Rene, I hope you're thinking about this.
I only want two more people to be from town at most.

Hi Rene,

I think that sounds great. Just figure out where you want to be from.
You can be from any school, college, or university in the greater Boston area.
If you want to be from town you can work at the public HS and I believe there is also a local prep school. Harvard is not very far away either.

I am planning on asigning a number of points from which to build you characters stats (with each stat having a minimum and maximum value).
That's something I've always liked about GURPS and plan to use here. Far too often in CoC you either have to be the character the dice chose for you or you keep rerolling. In any event one persons stat total is bound to be much than others and it can all be a little unbalanced. So soon I'll give you some character creation guidelines and let y'all get started when you want.

For those of you with PC's there are some excellent CoC resources out there. One of the best is a character creation program called Byahkee.

You sould be able to turn off the random features and plugin your stat values that you determine.
