Okay, as I get geared up here I just want to see who wants to play what characters.

You can play any of your Delta World characters (just no Ethan or Zev), you can play your DWE characters from last time, make a new character, or have one provided to you by me, your choice, just let me know in the next few weeks and I'll have everyone ready to go by start date (whenever that is, I'm in no hurry Rene).

Oop I hear a baby

So the Line Up as I have it is (proper names may be inaccurate or missing):

Paul- Allah Charra
Rene- Orgo
Jaime- Dr. Em
Mike- The Mental Monkey
Randy- TigerMan
Ryan- Weird Alien Psi-Mage
Sanford- Bounder of Adventure
Brad- ? the Iq

Am I missing anyone or does anyone want to be other than what is listed?

A general synopsis will be available soon. With individual details to follow.

I am indeed keen for the return of The Mental Monkey, who I'm sure had a name that I cannot remember.

Am I the only one who thinks there is a significant difference between saying one cannot do something and saying one can not do something? To me, the first says one is unable to do something, while the second says that one has the option to not do something. In other words, if I can not fly, then I can (not fly) or not (not fly), thus implying that I can fly, which is clearly not the same as saying that I cannot fly.

I also don't recall whether he was a mutated chimpanzee, orangutan, or ....

Now that I think about it, I'd like to look at him side by side with Elvis Elton Elric the Third before making a final decision unless the GM cares to pick between the two for campaign-appropriateness. It seems that a levitating monkey (and his prehensile tale, if he has one) would come in handy in a space-based campaign.

I think it means that you have the ability to 'not fly', but the converse is not necessarily true. Which is confusing so I guess that's why we bodge it together as 'cannot'.

Word nerd.

Good point. I was thinking of can as a substitute for may, rather than as "have the capacity to". Usually when I see "can not", it is in the sense of "You can not [insert forbidden activity here]".

I will let you peruse both, though I have yet to do a conversion job on the monkey so he is not yet all GURPSy.
