While I was out for what has become my daily jog around the neighborhood (yeah, I know what you are thinking -- for what it's worth, your disbelief is exceeded only by my own, but that's not the really unbelievable part), i found a water leak.

Not so unbelievable, you say?  When was the last time you saw a water leak from space?

Here it is on Google Maps: http://tinyurl.com/3ch6n4

There's a shadow near the start of the path where the water flows into the back of the neighborhood from an apartment complex via a drainage channel between two houses, and the directions trace the 3 blocks it flows to get into a large drainage ditch.  If you look closely at the satellite photos, you can see the whole thing.  The thing has been there so long that it now is a budding ecosystem, with algae growing right on the asphalt.  I'm thinking I'll go back tomorrow to look for fish, since I'm sure it will still be there even though I reported it to the neighborhood association and to SAWS.

Wow, you really can see that just as clear as day
Code Compliance should have a satellite monitoring division.

Code Compliance has a hard enough time monitoring from the ground.
