Can I refill your water glass?

Mr. Woodhope's corporeal body was wracked with chills as he closes in on the next level in his quest to become a being of pure elemental coldfire so he could only attend last week in spirit (and character sheet...and risqué text msg). Forced to shiver in bed as the Spurs were manhandled by the Nuggets (and we all know how painful that can be)...he is dying (figuratively one hopes) to know what happened in the 'real world' or the moon of Vasteras. Anybody want to fill a brotha' in?

Oh, and how many times have you not been there and I have so abused your character sheets that they look like they belong on a truckstop wall? I was gratified, albeit surprised, that no one took the opportunity for revenge. It must have been a riveting session. Lemme know...

um , well, nothing really happened.  No rolls, no damage, no treasure (especially no fire cloak treasure).  We left the complex and went back to the ship, smooked with the captain (who spent the night with Loken ) travelling to (a little help here), where we promptly ported back to Betheren (where the population has doubled or trebled, and a fire elemental is visiting).  We studied prayed feasted and sprayed water on the stone, which told us to head south to the north border of the blue kingdoms (with the half of Vasteras plunged into war) to search for a certain fellow who is working at an observatory.  There are some raiders about, also seeking the obsrvaroty (which is forever cloaked in fog), which is not a defesible building and is holding numerous refugees.  Oh yeah, we are seeking Ryan's toothpick of mouth incineration and disenfection (for Nyther's rather famous morning dragon breath), and the guy at the observatory is going to tell us where it is, at.  I think that about covers it... others can fill in the blanks I have left above...

It's going to be a really good weapon, well designed for Nyther.  It gives the bearer a +2 to holding his action and a +4 to bringing up the rear.

Also, Woodhope is now disguised in peasant garb.

Much like Mr. Toad disguising himself as a washerwoman.

So we need to evac the refugees to B-Ryn, But there are to many to teleport quickly so were gonna have to ride out and kill the Nahrain raiders who are on the way.

Davl, don't let me forget to bring a bullet for your sling that I have here at home, it may give you some concept of the ranged weapon damage (an attack we as a party seem to sorely miss) that a +4 bullet (or three) could do to the opposition.

Are you over your ailment? That sounded like a sucky way to spend a Thursday nite.

I am not. Although I feel pretty good, I am still maintaining a high temperature. It was definitely not the way to spend a Thursday...or any other day. I even had to cancel my class. Hopefully, I will be recovered by this Thursday...but things are progressing slowly. Doctors locally are telling people 7-10 days. I've already had to cancel my trip to Taos.

(especially no fire cloak treasure)

I hope this is not the Water Cloak that I was pining for. That fire damage completely knocked me out of commission...Nyther too. One of us would be a much better choice of recipient.

And may I bring your memory back to those thrilling days of yestergame when I got the Staff of the Whirlpool that you coveted and you made me pay you a magic item from my stash for the privilege of me getting my weapon. Tables have turned. Time to settle accounts. You owe me a magic item. Pony up, Druid.

yeah I was thinking of the ebony fly as my gift to you, for I do remember you getting a sash that gives you +4 to your intelligence and your weapon from the same lucky undead fellow.  I certainly like the symmetry of the two items from the same wizard.  I do not remember forcing you to give me a magic item for your staff.  And lets not bring the pony into this discussion, that was long long ago.

Above is what I got when I googled d&d for the figurine of wondrous power, ebony fly.  Looks more like Ryan's ballgame than yours....

I'll take the Ebony Fly...it will match my demeanor more than a soggy cloak.

I was at the Doctor's office. Dr. Kristy says it's pneumonia. Oh boy.
