I'm sure that just like many of you guys, I grew up reading some great books like The Lord of The Rings that were part fantasy and part travel/adventure stories. A book like that has me consulting the map periodically and I do enjoy a good map. Perdido Street Station had a map and I had to check it out frequently. OK, I didn't really have to, but I like maps.

The Scar, although taking us on a wider tour of Bas-Lag is, so far, totally mapless. There is a lot of description of where we are going, etc. but no map. I asked the Google for a map and I got one:

This site has a bunch of game-related information set on the world that contains New Crobuzon, apparently including some spoilers so watch out. If anyone wants to run a game where I can play Mayor Rudgutter, I'm all in.

I also wanted a map in the First Law books, but since they were traveling to "the edge of the world' and it was mysterious and (mostly) unknown, I'm a little more forgiving.

I think Brad now has my copy. You are welcome to borrow it once he's done.

I believe Pete has mine, if he brings it tonight you can have it next.  Sorry Todd for not answering you.  I only answer if my answer is helpful, or I think it may be helpful.  I didn't have the book so. . .

I'm usually quicker to answer if my reply is not helpful. Like now.
