All is not lost! I did some reading when I got home and some calling around to a few other D&D dorks today and LO! I may still use my weapons! I just do not get the bonus for strength on my damage.
Since it is a composite greatbow I will take a -4 to all attacks with it.
The -4 is due to: (-3) because the composite was created to fit my +3 strength bonus and (-1) because it is a greatbow and I have no bonus modifiers at a 10 strength. The negatives increase the lower my strength goes.
My greatsword I can also use! as well as the warmace. I just get no bonuses from strength modifiers to any damage.
Bottom line, I can still continue to fight and be helpful, to a degree.
Since Ginlock uses two weapon fighting he rarely uses his shield, if he were to lend me his shield I could use use my warmace (1d12) damage and fight that way.
Or, without a shield, use my greatsword which still does (2d6) damage on it's own.
Using my greatbow: I had a total of +13 to attack. With my new strength of 10 it would fall to a +9, and a +8 on the second shot if I used rapid shot.
And instead of +7 to damage, I would only have a +4, because the feats I took still apply. So I am still in it baby and ready to go.
And I now know not to charge into the bite zone of a "Giant Water Fuck You Up."
