Fortitude?  That's the easy one to pass.  It's the will saves that are hard.

Thankfully few traps require will saves (of course now the next one will).

The sorcerer at least knew exactly what I was up to and was over 20' away, alas he was still in hearing range of the Banshie Scream.  This kind of thing is bound to happen occasionally when you call me in to try to diffuse things. Tho, my missed roll to to remove the glyph wasn't nearly as crappy as the fortitude saves the mages made.

You're giving me ideas here.  Grin

No kidding required here. I don't mind a little fairness, I'm happy to share the death wealth.

speaking of... is there some sort of estate tax we should be assessing on your valuables (chitlins, shortbreads, etc.)?

I would support a DM tax. Those who pay get +10 on their saving throws.

I tried the 1 beer per block of XP - no go.  besides, +10 on the save still would have doomed our esteemed carriers of advanced magiks, also known as the 'dead thaumagerist society.'  Look for them in the upcoming memoir of a thief 'Oh the Traps I Fell Into'

And speaking of stick poking, what new and exciting way to die did Nyther come up with this time?

The door screamed at him...   Shocked

Hey did I mention I cast a 40' thick wall of fire between me, the thief, and the very cold undead fellow who is coming down the hallway?  Sorry guys (well, maybe Rene is highly resistant to fire).
