Will caretake wierd skulls for food

So, mages, any plan on how to get past this barrier surrounding the tower?  My father always said that the quickest and easiest way through a lock was the key, any ideas if we can't find it?

I have nothing in my arsenal that's likely to be helpful.

Perhaps we could use the cleric of Torm's head as a battering ram.

Maybe he could explain the wonders of Torm to the barrier.  Then, due to sheer boredom, it would simply wink itself out of existence.

Or perhaps he could burn enough heretics at the stake that the fire would spread and ignite the barrier. Women, children and the mentally ill are quite flamable, I've been led to understand.

Yes, but then we would lose our dwarf.  Besides, the smell of burning flesh might make the deacon ill.

Oh, the irony: a deacon of Torm who wants to burn heretics but is made ill by the smell of charred flesh.

Can someone please explain why the forces of "good" leave so many dead innocents in their wake?

I think it's all in the word "force."

Perhaps they should try a little tenderness.

No bright ideas?

I'm ready to do that voodoo that I do so well. Unfortunately it doesn't work so well on barriers.   Undecided

Are there not still underground areas to explore, and perhaps secret doors to find?

Just give me the magical high-pH anti-acid breast plate first.

Anti-acid?  Is that for the digestive juices you are bound to decorate your chest with?

But I swear I can see the image of Torm miraculously etched into corrosion on your current armor.
