Well, it turned out to be rather simple. There was a hidden lever opposite the second lever we kept pulling to earn ourselves the acid shower. Apparently the hin didn't discover it on earlier searches because he's too tiny to reach that far. Be thankful you have a taller-than-average dread necromancer... oops, I mean scribe... in the party.

So, we pulled the correct lever, passed through the third field and explored more of the dungeon. Dealt with some nasty traps then used the skeleton fingers as keys to open yet another force field. From there, we found a room that appeared to be the wizard's and stairs ascending the tower.

Then I fell asleep at the table.  Undecided

We travelled down numerous corridors with an evil, evil, evil series of pit traps.

Eventually we went through a door into what we can only assume is the bottom floor of the tower. The door is free-standing (a la Monsters, Inc.) with noting behind it. We appear to be in the wizard's boudoir. There is a magical bookcase, loads of books (history, genealogy, etc.), all the furniture radiates magic and the lamps are enchanted to turn on or off when you clap at them.

We ascended the stars and found a room with three force cages: two with beautiful but desperate women, one blocking the stairs up to the next level. There was a panel with three buttons. The hin concentrated on the jugs to figure out which buttons to push. He let out the blonde who promised us a reward and vanished. The brunette turned into a demon...still caged though. The stairs are now unblocked and we will be ready for them after a good night's rest.

And best of all...no vomit!

I'd like to revisit something. The treasure of this place is too great to leave behind and too cumbersome to take with us. I suggest we make this a base of operations and spend our free time here (particularly the scribe/necrophile and I), There are too many books here to find the spell books we're looking for in a casual search, plus there's more here for us than just spell books. Also, I think the book case radiated both summoning and divination magic, doesn't that imply a sort of library assistant akin to but of more use than the annoying paper clip in microsquash programs?

Yes, this sounds like an excellent idea.  I can't think of a more effective neighborhood watch than one that lives three days away from the neighborhood that they are watching.  Maybe we can all sing a song and feed the starving children in Africa as well.

Somehow I think our role has expanded well beyond neighborhood watch. We're probably going to be trapsing all over the land routing nastiness. As such, this tower makes sense as a stronghold/base of operations.

Clearly, the thing to do is to dedicate this tower as a temple to Torm. It was his justice and wisdom that guided our path to this very spot. For your faithful assistance in this endeavor, you all will be guaranteed a place in the temple...even with your...erm...unorthodox beliefs.

I don't think Torm would smile too kindly on the undead servants I plan to create.

So, needless to say, turning the tower into a temple of Torm probably isn't a great idea.

For such an apparently smart girl, you can be quite obtuse. The great idea you should have derived is that you should not create undead servants in the house of Torm.

So it was Torm's justice and wisdome that guided us through the acid showers, the noxious fumes, the multiple pits, and the exploding chest.  No wonder you get so sick all of the time.

If your Torm is anything like Lathander -- and I sense that he is -- I have no desire to live in his house.

No, Lathander is a prancing ponce. Torm is all about strength and justice. Something every rational being values.

Would those be "living" people?

So, you're even more extreme and insane in your desire to compartmentalize everything in the world into black and white. Great.
