Death may be the greatest of all human blessings.

I forgot that I am playing an earlyish guitar-duo gig with James Sidlo.

I'll probably arrive at the Geek Compound around 10-10:30.

I sent a PM to the GM this PM  re the D&D, which I assume he has not read. I will not be able to make the game this eve as Molly is working tonight. I guess I could just slip out once they go to sleep.

I ended up not making the game myself.

The touring artist on last night's performance didn't start his set until 10:30 p.m., and I felt it would be a dickish move to duck out without seeing him.

Overall, a fun show.

You didn't miss much--except for the talking doorknob.  The acid splash was a nasty surprise, but Kralig had a low charisma to begin with.  Let's face it, he wasn't going to grace the cover of DQ anytime soon!  We left on a bit of a cliffhanger, but I am certain we can free the two magic users from the witch's hourglass before the sand runs out.

Alas, there will be no gaming.  These are bad financial times, and in such times, no one can afford to pay attention during the holidaze.

Indeed, the year is ending so grimly, that there will be no game until the year 2010.  It is an ill omen that the holidaze would stack up the way they did this year.

Yup. The scheduling just doesn't work for me. I have class wednesday nights, holidays on Thursdays and Fridays. It's not the economy. I have jobs a-plenty.

I look forward to returning and slaying the last mummy in January!

The Last Mummy in January?  Wasn't that a Merchant Ivory film?

Turns out that I don't have class this coming Wednesday. I could envision some mummy slayage. Anybody else available and willing? DM?

Is this Ryans way of saying he is going on a cruise?  Just checking.

I am available and 100% willing to make 2010 a mummy-free year.

I could certainly do Wednesday. I need some slayage that does not include my in-laws.
