LIFE IN A HAUNTED TOWN (Sung to the tune of “Life in a Northern Town” by The Dream Academy)

On the cliff an old lighthouse stands
Abandoned and crumbling to sand
And there’s something nasty at hand, at hand
Bad dreams of a powerful mage
Who played with demons in his day
What happened to him no one can say-ay-ay

Ah-hey ma ma ma, hey-dee-da-na-ya
Hey ma ma ma, hey-ay-ay-ay, ah
Life in a haunted town
Ah hey ma ma ma ma

Held doors keep intruders at bay
And spells to frighten people away
And scorpions crawling all about the place
So, how did we end up here?
Another place of distrust and fear
And deep dark secrets for us to plumb, yeah, yeah

Ah-hey ma ma ma, hey-dee-da-na-ya
Hey ma ma ma, hey-ay-ay-ay, ah
Life in a haunted town
Ah hey ma ma ma ma

Ah-hey ma ma ma, hey-dee-da-na-ya
Hey ma ma ma, hey-ay-ay-ay, ah
Something creepy’s gonna go down
Ah hey ma ma ma ma

Soon we’ll wander the haunted manse
Hoping we don’t soil our pants
As demons and ghosts swirl all around
Why did we ever think this would be fun?
I’m talking to my agent when we’re done
Find me some work where I can sit on my buns, Mmhmm

Ah-hey ma ma ma, hey-dee-da-na-ya
Hey ma ma ma, hey-ay-ay-ay, ah
Life in a haunted town
Ah hey ma ma ma ma

Ah-hey ma ma ma, hey-dee-da-na-ya
Hey ma ma ma, hey-ay-ay-ay, ah
Something creepy’s gone down
Ah hey ma ma ma ma

Ah-hey ma ma ma, take it easy on yourself
Hey ma ma ma, hey-ay-ay-ay, ah
Life in a haunted town
Ah hey ma ma ma ma

Brain Damage (filked to the tune of Brain Damage by Pink Floyd)

The damn wine cellar door is locked.
The damn wine cellar door is locked.
We used up our spells and nobody fell but now,
If we had more the door could be Knocked.

We left the lighthouse through this hall.
We left the lighthouse walking down this hall.
The cellar holds casks moldered around the floor
But the full ones have a taste I abhor.

And if the door breaks open many ears will hear
And if we rest I fear we’ll be attacked

And if the door explodes within this dark abode

We’ll see what sort of monsters will appear

The damn cellar door is still shut
The damn cellar door is still shut
You raise your axe, you think of whacks

You reconsider it for now.

You leave the door

And think of something new

Wasn’t there another way to get through?

And if we hike back, enter through the front

There’s no telling what we will confront.

And then if that front door is similarly barred

We’ll have a laugh and call you a retard.

"I can't think of anything to say except...
HaHaHa!

Why didn’t I think of that!
HaHaHa!"
