MY CHALONNA (Sung to the tune of “My Sharona” by The Knack)
Oh my little ocean priest, ocean priest
When you gonna help me out, Chalonna
When you gonna cure this dread disease, this dread disease
Restore everything I lost, Chalonna
CHORUS:
Never gonna stop, level up
Such a nasty bind, time to pony up
For a spell of the holy kind
My my my i yi woo
My my my my Chalonna
Wish a city was closer, huh, not so far, huh,
Cause we leaned on you for more dough, Chalonna
Hope you can please forgive, let us live
Cause being second level would blow, Chalonna
[CHORUS]
When you gonna restore me? Can’t you do all three?
Some kinda Sophie’s Choice, Chalonna
Take a level from me, yes from me
Or we can argue argue all night like little boys, Chalonna
[CHORUS]

Gone XP Gone
(to the tune of "Gone Daddy Gone" by the Violent Femmes)
Horrible specter's sweet caress
Higher levels in regress
Horrible specter's sweet caress
Thought the damn cleric had cast a bless
Now it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone away
Turn that gnome in
Save our poor hin
Turn that gnome in
And turn our backs on our lowly hin
'Cause it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone away
I can see your alignment lines are blurred
Muddy waters crash below, this is so absurd
So you know strongheart hin always keep their word
That half-baked half-orc's a stinking...
'Cause it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone away
Pitiful gnome, chained in a recess
My party screwed me I confess
But I've still got most of my finesse
Think I can still spring you from this horrible mess
'Cause it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone
Gone XP gone
The level's gone
Yeah it's gone XP gone
The level's gone away
Gone away
Gone away
Gone away

Todd, I did not forget that you also shared my horrible fate. I only left you out of the filk for artistic reasons.
For the record, the odds that we would get only one level back were a mere 25%. The odds that we would lose no levels--6%.
I for one look forward to Rene's game where I will no longer be the only "good" character in the party.

I never claimed to be "good."

The claims of this party are not something that I give much credence to.
