I thought I'd tell you guys what happens:

Limited nuclear war breaks out between the human nations controlled by the various forces. Earth is devastated by a combination of nuclear holocaust and the splicing of earth with Hell. The players travel first to south america then to asia where most of them die horribly except Rev. Russell who saves the day (or night) and ends up marrying Julia Giovanni and having mixed race vampire babies.

Wait!  what happened to Gepetto Corbucci?  He was alive and kicking when we last saw him, but then his ring mysteriously showed up in the future.  Surely the Hero of Venice didn't die.

Todd had the ring, if I remember correctly.  However, the hero of the Venice story, one Gepetto Corbucci, had the ring before that.  I wonder what awesome and beautiful destiny gave Gepetto the confidence to abandon the ring.
